I have a question..not sure if i can make sense enough on how to ask but im going to try.
back when i had taken a med combo that caused me to halicuinate (auditory and visual) i heard what i thought were deamons and angels fighting over my soul. Among other things as well. But that one in particular has stuck with me. Its been a year now since that happened and i repeatedly in my head ask God to forgive me then say things such as f God and go back to asking forgivness. This is an all day long occurance. I beleived i was going to end up in hell when i had those halicunations so thats when i started doing that. Since im not in that state of my mind anymore i havnt been able to stop. It happens out of the blue and i have to try so hard not to focus on it. I was wondering if maybe i had caused myself some sort of internal teretts or something because thats exactly what it feels like. Sometimes i do say it aloud but when others arnt around. I dont know what to make of this? Can anyone relate or understand? Sorry for any mispellings..im a little extra tired this morning. Thanks in advanced for any replies.

Hello, Peaches86, and welcome.

It's not easy to guess what might be the problem, but I can give you one thing that might cause it: it could very easily be the acidic residue (or ash) which all medications leave behind in digestion. The buildup of that over a period of days (before the kidneys can catch up to remove it) can cause intrusive thoughts.

I have found over the years that cutting 1 or 2 lemons in half and squeezing them into about 8 oz of water and drinking that will help reduce the acidity of the fluids and tissues, calming the thoughts strongly. If it hasn't worked within 4 hours, repeat the process, and you should have relief.

It does work for some bipolar patients. (I keep about a dozen lemons in my
refrigerator at any one time!)

Take care and I hope you feel better.

Please discuss these thoughts with your psyciatrist because some other chemical problem could be going on that he needs to investigate with you.

Yes, your fluids and tissues may be crying out for relief of the acidic overload.
Thanks for this!
