I have a question for the members of the bipolar support group here.
As a new member I was wondering if we are only allowed to bring up issues pertaining to our bipolar illness or if we are allowed to use this forum to speak about what's going on in everyday life.

I know that there are a lot of different forums on psych Central for different issues but from where I stand I see everything that goes on in my life as having to do with bipolar whether that's having a terrible time with depression or other manic episode or whether it's breaking you shoelace and having that trigger something in my life.

Just a question for those who have been on here a while there may know how this form works better than I do.

The Wolf

It's meant to be about issues pertaining to BP but a lot of us use it for everyday life cos our everyday life is skewed by our bp ness. Feel free to post what you like if its in the wrong place the moderators will move it.

I consider it more a place for people with bipolarness to share what's going on with them, regardless of if it is bipolar related or not. We're more like a support group than a forum. Plus, bipolar colors everything for most of us anyway....

What's the point of these forums if you couldn't do any of those?

It's a community, not a study group.

Hi welcome. Say whatever you want, we do. Then deal with the occasional thread has been moved to the whatever other forum.

In the year I've been here I think I've only seen one thread moved to a different forum. So, no worries.
