I didn't realize till now that I really, really am into his posts.

he tells a story.
the story tells about him.
he puts words to things that words could not previously describe.
he is really talented in that area, and I miss it already.

Hope your doing okay, and that everything worked out for you!
Thanks for this!

James is a great writer. I love his use of words and images to discuss things. I can relate to a lot of what he says too.

Hurry back, James!

What??? Where did he go?

I must've missed something.

Yes, his posts are great. They are like poetry. He really does a good job putting the reader right into the emotions he is feeling.

I wish more of us had at least responded to his posts. I saw on the "unanswered threads" that there were a lot by him!

I tried responding to some, but he wouldn't discuss. I felt he was writing poetic insights but I couldn't understand what he meant in some of them. He didn't care to explain. He didn't have to, that I understand.

I feel the same way about many of his posts. If I don't know how to respond to James' post, I try to give a thanks or hug to let him know that I read them.
Thanks for this!

His posts are poetry so, I don't know if we necessarily need to know what he means instead of letting it resonate within us to make our own meanings. I liked his posts where he would put the pictures with it. With my reading issues pictures really help me out a lot.

Sometimes it's just hard to articulate the feeling you get from poetry.

Why was he in court? Was his lawyer with him? James ... locked up? How can that be justice? James never should have been born "here," if you get what I mean.

dubblemonkey's poems are like a Monet painting. If you stand right up against them, they are just a blur of brush strokes. But if you back away, suddenly BAM! you see an image appear right before you. Unlike a painting, of course, that image may be different for everyone. So instead of a bridge and water lillies we see whatever resonates inside.

Sometimes, it's hard to respond to that, dee. So, just saying thanks sometimes is all you can do.
