Yesterday was day two of the patch. Day one of the patch I only smoked ten cigarettes. Day two of teh patch I only smoked three cigarettes. that was yesterday. But I'm calling yesterday day one cuz I got my butt out for a run yesterday.

first time running in over a year! man was I slow. and needed to walk every quarter mile! I only went out for two miles and my time was 26:16

anyways, it's only day one of little to no smoking and running.
I did do some sprints just to remind myself of my old pace though. those felt really good.

body building and distance running are opposites unfortunately. Now... sprinters have huge muscle bulk... that would work. but distance runners are pretty lean and focus more on cardio and core strength.

I'm hoping to find a happy median... I naturally have a larger muscle tone.. prolly from years of labor. so I want to be someone who lifts SOMEWHAT and runs a moderate distance.

I'll post my experience on here and hopefully that will motivate you too!
