I can feel it. I just have no thoughts, feelings, emotions. I feel tired, low on energy and sleeping a lot again. I see my new Pdoc this coming Tuesday though so I look forward to that.

Also; I've been feeling really good the past couple of weeks, well up until the last few days. But I bought a little sports car, paid cash for it, but I bought it for something fun to drive. It's a 4 seater, I have a husband and 3 kids. I can still drive it some though. Then because it only seats 4 I almost traded in my paid off mini van for a new faster car. What is wrong with me?
I'm typically very anti debt. We pay cash for everything, the last time I felt like this I charged $1k worth of clothes on my charge cards. I thought I needed them at the time.

The spending is surely my BP talking right?

I spend when I'm manic. I hate your dealing with depression ---it's that time of year. March is near and I'm praying for relief. It's great you pay cash for things.

Over spending and buying things that may not make sense is pretty common in the BP world. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hope your new Pdoc can help. I'm glad you were able to re-think the mini van idea.

Bipolar label sucks. You can't even treat yourself with some fancy nice car without worrying is it a mental problem? You realize consumer debt is a monster of a problem and most consumers are not bipolar but, spend a few grand and it's bipolar?! Oh no!

Give yourself a break. Enjoy the car and make your payments. Be aware of other symptoms in case they really are piling up, and they do, a single episode of "manic spending" isn't anything like mania.

Depression is hell. Contorts your face. Shows you things no one else can see. Nothing makes sense any more but, bipolar! You'll be swinging from the rafters in no time.

I also spend when i'm manic. I seem to stay more in depression than mania so I hope you feel better.
