Well my doc said I'm urea rapid cycling.

What does this mean

Ultra does that make me super man

It consumes me all I am

Take over, instant high for a few hours

Dropping to a depressive low for a few hours.

Wild intellectual, devious, crazy plain out of my mind.

I'm an ultradian cycler. I think that's the same?

"Rapid" just means 4 cycles in a year (depressed/manic)

Ultradian cyclers like me can have multiple cycles in a day! But, I do that not very often, only once I hit a trigger. My cycles are actually kind of on a pattern. I go about 3-5 days of more depressive, then 3-5 days of more manic, then I have my episodes which happen a couple of times a month, depending on my triggers. I need to get back to tracking it, because it's kind of interesting to watch the graph.

Remember that song by 3 Doors Down "If I go crazy, then will you still call me Superman?" That's what your post reminded me of.

Holy cow.

I was thinking "4 cycles in a year = rapid"? How about more than one in a day? Then I read the rest of darkheart's post.

I'm afraid I'm ultradian, too, although it's been many months since this happened.

It really is exhausting.

It is exhausting. I hate having multiple cycles in a week. I hate when I cycle so fast I'm not sure if I'm depressed or manic? It's frustrating.

Are you tracking your moods, Clint? I know it's hard when you are ultradian. I like optimism online because I could set it up to track my cycling. I forgot what it was originally called, but it was the bar that goes from 0-60 on the far right. I changed that to "numbers of cycles today." Then I have "elevation" and "dysphoric/euphoric" as my two mood meters. Because I can be dysphoric but racing like I"m manic.

Finding the pattern is actually really helpful, or seeing if there is no pattern would still be helpful. Just getting to know yourself a bit better.
