I have real trouble with focusing and staying on task and motivation. Even on fun things or things I love, I bounce all over the place. My mind can't seem to stick to one thing. And then also as a result of this, I can't seem to ever relax or get anything done, either!

This is a real problem and I don't have any money for meds or doctors. So.... what to do? what to do?

Even the smallest movements out of the corner of my eye, a ticking clock, a sudden change in the air flow can distract me. It's take me 3 hours to write 2 paragraphs

Any ideas

My brain just starts spinning out of control.

Like I was fine and then I'm trying to work on this project. And then I can't even focus on it.I keep going here there here there this that. It's like a car with a brick on the gas pedal and no one at the wheel.

Damn I am so sorry your going through all this .

Maybe you are going into a downward spiral to hell . Oh I hope not.

Are you able to "ground yourself" ? Are you able to meditate at all , I know that's hard when you feel so scattered ..

Do you have any of the lithium left? Maybe take one or 2 a day for just right now ... they might help ..

I wish I had better advice

Please take care of you.. find time for yourself !!! You need it , plain and simple

Take care of you , keep posting and know Im sending you love and good thoughts

Awww sis that sucks wetrabidogass!

I dont have any immediate solutions, but I would recommend a supplement like biostrath.
My niece has ADD and is a HS senior, she is VERRY easily distracted, disorganized and doesn't tolerate Ritalin well and refuses to try other psych meds.

She has reported that the supplement has improved her concentration span considerably. Doesn't take her hours and hours to complete her school work anymore

((((((((((DHX))))))))))
Thanks for this!

this is a very interesting word. I am trying to determine the meaning. I have a feeling it would get censored. LOL

LOL! yes censorship is a definit possibilty!

Hope you and hubby try the Biostrath, or something similar. I only hear good things about it, and I know a few people who either use it, or give it to their children before school so they can sit still and comprehend instead of itch for break time.
Thanks for this!
