Mania has always been a friend. This time it's actually not that bad. I'm able to keep semi-focused. Usually when I start cleaning, I rip apart one room, bring the laundry down and say "hey, it would only take a few minutes to get this room cleaned up, rip it apart, find a dish and start ripping apart the cabinets to clean them out, until every room is ripped apart. It's wonderful when it's all back together, but there is a lot of wasted time and energy. I've been able to catch myself and finish one room before moving on to the next. It's been amazing. So far I have three rooms completely mucked out and spring cleaned. I'm taking a break mid room 4. I REALLY want to paint this room but my husband would strangle me, I haven't finished painting the kitchen yet. The purging has been cathartic! Unfortunately the back of my husband's pick up is FULL FULL FULL so I'm limited right now with what I can get rid of. I hope it lasts long enough for me go get the whole house clean! There is a shopping aspect this time that is new. I'm not enjoing that at all.

Yeah, you need to rest at some point. If your body doesn't start winding down after a day at the most, then I also encourage you to call your doc.

I agree with the other two posters. 1. Get as much done, get rest and call ur pdoc. It's nice to enjoy the ride when it's not dangerous. Right now I'm depressed so I would be happy with a little mania. Take care

It is very hand right now. With my son's wedding coming up, and being in the middle of a remodel. I'm going to enjoy it while I can. I do know that everything looks worse without sleep. I am a little afraid of the crash this time, my son will be deploying soon. A regular crash is difficult to deal with, but add that to it and it may be pretty ugly. But nothing can touch me now... So I'll enjoy it while I can!
I remember when my last doctor first began to treat me for bipolar (until him it was always called manic/depressive). He was explaining the newer treatments available. When he was talking about the benefits of avoiding the mania, I said "avoid it, I don't want to avoid it, that's my favorite time! If someone could bottle the mania up and sell it they'd make millions!" He said "they do, it's called amphetamine." Sorry about the depressoin Coco. Stay safe!
