I found a place that does clay classes. I could call. It's pretty expensive.

If classes aren't an option with clay you could find a different medium and jump in head first on your own. Colored pencils, scrapbooking, photography, what ever strikes you as interesting.

A few years ago I took up knitting. I went to the craft store and bought the cheapest skein of yarn I could find and one pair of knitting needles. The store had free pamphlets on very basic knitting patterns. With Youtube to help fill in the blanks the total investment to start the new hobby was about $5. It helped to take my mind off of things at the very least.

I do photography. And the kids are off this week. Talking them into going again is another matter!

This is one of my eldest: http://www.flickr.com/photos/moose72...7633008396373/

i hope you can check the place out, maybe they'd be willing to work with you on the price, or do some work trade or something.

Yes! Total doppelgangers lol!! Is he really very curly? My son has perfect curl hair, kind of like Jim Morrison, I should see if wants to let me try straightening it, that sounds pretty fun! Sometimes though when he brushes it, it frizzes way out and looks really 70's.

I'm sorry Moose I'm still pretty anxious and mind spinning, waiting for this to pass. Did you find a show to watch?

This is on DVD though you might find it on PBS tonight. It's a very funny britcom set on a ladies and gentle men's department store.

Hi Moose,
I haven't been able to follow the boards much lately, and I am just finding out what a rough time you are having. I am so sorry!
I wish you would expand on your photography. If you lived in my area, I would definitely hire you to capture my kids' personalities. I can look at your photos and know your children.
You mentioned some art classes. Do you have a strong parks and rec department in your area? Where I live, they offer many classes in anything you can imagine.
The time/sunshine issues have been affecting me greatly. I can handle the time change, but the fact that spring won't arrive is messing me up. I'm in DC today, and it was supposed to be 67 and sunny, but instead we arrived to rain and it is very windy and cold!
I'm hoping your pain goes away soon!

Knitting is a great idea. You can't really think of more than one thing at
a time and knitting keeps you centered and concentration on it is
good.

Talked to a friend of mine., he told me how great I am and good for doing the things I do. He made me cry. He said I need a real hug when we can get together.
