two weeks ago my body just got tired, I can hardy walk, and when I go to flip through a magazine or whatnot, my hands feel as though they don't have control. I'm on 450 mg of lithium and 200 of lamotragine. Has any body had this happen. I don't want to think its ms, but it feels that off.

Hmmm... well, I've been down to the point that I have 0 motivation and even looking at pictures in a magazine are too much for me. My body does feel heavy at that time. I can usually walk and do things, it's just I feel weighed down and don't want to.

So, I guess the question is if you're just feeling completely blah or if you actually can't make your body go. That would be the red flag, is if you can't move even if you want to.

I'm sorry you feel so terrible.

How recent are the meds?? I started Lamotrigine not that long ago, and I'm terribly lethargic on it. Maybe you should get your fatigue checked out though. Get some blood work and stuff done by your doctor. I hope you feel better soon. It's hard to be that exhausted. Take good care.

Get your lithium blood levels checked! I am on Lamictal and it does not make me tired but ER are all different. Lithium made me lethargic, shake really mad and dry mouth and huge weight gain. It didn't work for me but I know it is the first line of defense drug for BP. Do you have any other signs of depression besides fatigue? Check out the symptoms for depression. You might need a med adjustment.

Thank you everybody, I'm new to this site and it's really nice. I do have tremor in my hands but its month three on lithium and it just started now. I am actually really depressed, maybe it really has something to do with that. Its so odd that all this is happening and is new. I was bi polar from 27 to 39 undiagnosed, its amazing i did as well as I did before everything fell apart. so having consistent thoughts and being regulated is odd comming with all this body stuff. I really appreciate the idea that its depression, I will look to see if that really can cause mussle fatigue. I'm worried about the hand coordination but I will get a blood test to check that out.

If you are feeling depressed the fatigue is probably that...I went through a depressed episode a couple of weeks ago and I really thought something was physically wrong I was so exhausted. Until I came out of it and now have super energy.
