This "lady" on fb, not a friend, not even a nice lady, just one of those "facebook friends" just posted this and now I'm in a tizzy!!
"Locals-Please keep an eye out for this man. He is mentally ill and considered armed and dangerous according to County Sherriff. He was spotted in the area (by in the area, I mean right here) last night." Then it went on to the news story that he is breaking into cars.... So WHY WHY WHY must they throw in that he's "mentally ill"?? He's a criminal - mentally ill or not - gawdddd i don't like this stigma!  Dont they know most mentally ill people probably just hide in our homes and are hurting and cry a lot or battle with our racing thoughts and sleeplessness or so many other symptoms ... no they don't know. It's all about, "ooooh watch out - she's crazy - she has bp."  And why why why do I have to get so upset about it? I'm writing here now to control myself from writing something mean about her fake smiles showing that she must have some "illness"..... arrrrrghhh! |

Just read the whole news article - nowhere does it say or imply that this man is mentally ill. So this woman just added that to her post, her own professional dx ? She is a trained dog sitter, I hired her before ... puhhhlease...

 shh... breath. Atleast we have a dx. She's just stupid. We can get help and get better. She's always going to remain stupid. :-)

Please take a breath. It isn't about you, it's about her being one of those people who likes to "raise the alarm".
Haven't you ever noticed that there are some people in the world who get some sort of self-importance boost from being the bearer of bad news? I have. They are the ones who call when someone dies, or has some misfortune. It makes them feel important because they are not. That's all. No, she doesn't need to mention Mental Illness!!!! But it is telling. About Her. So, take it for what it is. An alarmist being alarming. I hope you're okay...
