BIPOLAR DISORDER, UNSPECIFIED

I can officially say that...I'm bipolar.

I feel relieved kind of, I had been seeing my pdoc for about 3 months....

I'm getting a new pdoc within the next 30 days.

What's next for me in life?

You keep on living your life . You may try medication to help with the mood issues , whatever they may be. You should really learn coping skills. Medication wont take care of all your symptoms. You need to be proactive in your treatment.

Good luck

What's next in life? Tomorrow

Try to aim for progress in the tomorrow's that follow. That's the best you can aim for

Give yourself time to get used to your new 'label', but try not to over-think it, or allow yourself to be caught up in the false intrigue of having a diagnosis that gets a lot of publicity (but which few people understand). Also, take your doctor's advice on sleep hygiene, exercise, healthful eating and other self-care that's so important in the management of this condition.

I remember how hard it was for me to accept my own diagnosis, but in the long run it was far better to know WHY I feel and act the way I do sometimes than not. Wishing you the best.
