I could be wrong, but I think, comicgeek, that going on and off your meds like this is a kind of cry for help. It's the only thing that comes to me because at the end of the day what you're doing is hurting yourself, and I think on some level you're aware of this. You will have help soon from your temp pdoc and then hopefully you can soon get a long-term pdoc. When you're feeling better maybe you can figure out a way for your parents to get educated on your condition, because I think what appears to be their indifference to your suffering is making everything much worse. Hang in there. |

You can go to a vitamin store and get vitamins, herbs and minerals especially for detoxing off of meds. Get vitamin b6, c, mega vitamins, potassium, zinc, l-tyrosine, fish oil, detox tea and kaopectate if you get diarrhea. It helps a lot.

licking chalk ? Yeah okay you might want to really think about your situation. If you are up and down like you have told us, you are in a very bad situation . Anything could happen. All the ups and downs can cause you to need longer time to recover from them.
Good Luck, I hope you can find a way to level out.

Withdrawal (or discontinuation syndrome as they like to call it) can be a complete trip.
I thought I was losing my mind when I went off my meds and I tapered them very reasonably. Please taper more slowly and/or contact your GP/Pdoc for help. I have never been psychotic, but someone was telling me (in my head, but not me, but not someone else....confusing right?) that it would be a good idea to burn down my house with all my family in it. The point is that in the end, I was convinced it was the right idea. Meds can make you think and do some scary stuff. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! ![]() |
