Hi guys,

It's been a long time since I wrote on here. Life is very hectic at the moment.

My Mum had a heart attack in February and it was very serious. She was close to dying. She has at the moment a blood clot on her heart which is slowly dissolving however if it erupts she will have a stroke and die. On Tuesday she is going ack to the hospital for an Angiogram this will determine what is the next step eg a bypass.

My choir has ended which I'm gutted about this. I have joined a new one but its not the same.

I have been on my meds for a little over 6 months solid now which is great and it's a first for me as I normally come off my meds. However despite being on my meds I had a manic episode 2 months ago and have not recovered. I have been having sever panic/anxiety attacks which is making me feel dread and claustrophobic. Bus journeys are killing me as I get so anxious on a bus if no-one is with me.

I applied for housing..... I the UK we have this tax that's been introduced called the bedroom tax so forcing people who live in a 2 bedroom flat into a 1 bedroom flat if they do not use their 2nd bedroom..... I applied for housing 1 week before
This came into effect..... We never knew this was going to come into our lives. However I have been lucky and a flat 20 minutes away from my parents has became vacant. I get to see the flat in 1 month's time as its being done up..... So I may have a flat eeeekkkkk!!!!

I have been offered a 12 week job paid in my volunteering job too.... Unsure about this though.

Also I have done 6 weeks of Drama Therapy and its crazy lol! I may get kept on for more after the last 6 weeks are done but who knows..... It makes you think of things and I eventually opened up last week which I'm mega chuffed about

I just wanted to say hi and that I'm still here just can't come on here all the time. Hope your all well

Hi, Laura! Good to hear from you.

You have been going through a lot. I hope your mom does okay and doesn't have a sroke. My dad had a massive heart attack last year in March. His diabetes is so bad that surgery will kill him. He has congestive heart failure. Anyway, they can't do surgery so the doctor just told him that he is coming up on the heart attack that will kill him. It could be soon or in 10 years, but, who knows. But, he is taking much better care of himself for it. So, I know how scary it is when you are dealing with that.

Good luck on the new flat! What an odd law. Is it just getting so hard to find 2 bedroom flats? Oh well. I hope it all works out for you! That's exciting.

I never heard of drama therapy. I have no idea what that is, Haha.

Thanks for checking in! I will send positive healthy thoughts to your mom.

Hey thanks guys,

It's quite scary but I think we are getting somewhere.

Dark heart, drama therapy is really interesting but really hard. We act out things in a group kinda like drama at school when you were a kid. But it's all about our thoughts and feelings. It is therapy so we can open up too..... I struggle with this part at the moment

That's the joys of the UK government. It comes into effect if you have not bought your property. Which is hard for some people. Be better when we have a proper government rather than a coalition government that we have at the moment
