I hate the taste of artificial sugars. Maybe using juice would work. Juice without sugar added. Or limiting it one glass/drink a week.

Feeling hungry and tired. Trying to resist the urge to eat chocolate. Think I need to curl up and sleep.

I've put myself on a 1,200 calorie diet where I drink about 88oz of water (with pure lemon juice in it cause I hate our tap water). That's half my body weight in ounces

I got an app (MyFitnessPal) on my phone to keep a food diary to keep track of calories and nutrition.

I need to deal with my weight/eating again. I went to Walmart today to see if I could get some capris and their biggest size (26) was too small. I left with a box of whoppers.

I'm so discouraged! After working hard to lose 80lbs back in 2007, I've gained it all back. Two manic episodes during that time seem to be the biggest cause of the gain.

I'm new to this sight, but when I lost the weight before it was with the help of an online support group. Maybe I'm ready to try again.

Habitual quitter. That's a lot of water. Hope your kidneys are working well!!! I should drink more water too.
1963otter. It's so easy to get discouraged . Maybe we can encourage each other. Like habitualquitter said, my fitness pal is a good site to count calories and it comes as an app for smart phones. I'm trying to exercise daily on my exercise bike and trying to resist chocolate and fast food and junk food. Good luck and keep posting.

I'm curled up in bed again. So tired and its only the middle of the day. Maybe if I get a rest I'll be able to exercise and finish off my housework.

Up to 14 km today on my exercise bike. Been riding every day and I'm gradually increasing my distance to 20 km a day in a few weeks. Not sure how the weight loss will be going though cos I ate a huge dinner tonight (ribs) and had dessert last night and tonight.
I will try to eat more healthy foods over the weekend and next week.

My mood has definitely improved with the exercise which is worth it even if I don't lose the weight. I feel great after I finish.

Did 16 km today on my exercise bike and back to what I weighed 3 weeks ago before too much junk food and take away food. Why is it so much harder to loose weight than to put it on????

Hoping to lose a kilo next week before my doctors appt.

BlackPup, you're inspirational! I'm only at 3km with running, aiming for a 5km this weekend! And yes, I find it much harder to loose weight that to put it on. One of life's quirks I guess.
Thanks for this!

Don't quote me on it, but I think diet is more important than exercise in weight loss. It's easier to avoid eating that 500 calories that to exercise it off. We all have days though and if we know we are going to consume more calories than normal, then we adjust our diet.
