So every now and then, I come up with some "brilliant" idea that I am enthralled with for about 3 days and then forget all about.

Here is the latest one:

I will start a publishing company to publish my book. But I won't stop there! We will also publish a magazine coming out every other month, and the novel I'm working on, and books by others with mental illness.

Everyone hired by my company, from the editors to the janitors, will have a diagnosed mental illness. We'll be one steaming pot of unstable, beautiful, energetic creativity. Everyone will have accommodations to help them through work, be it working part time, assistance with organization, or simply being in a nonjudgmental, supportive environment.

Many of us can't do the 9-to-5-sitting-in-a-cubicle-all-day thing. But I fully believe that those of us with MI have a lot to offer the world.

If you think this is an awful idea, fret not. I'll probably forget about it tomorrow.

My latest idea was funny...

I was gonna open up a super guitar store. I planned on studying every guitar ever made and memorizing tons of songs...keep in mind I've never played a guitar longer than 5 minutes my whole life.

My other idea about 2 weeks ago...I ended up designing an entire 18 hole golf course for a U.S open for some unknown amount of years down the road...

I laughed for a good 5 minutes about that one a week later and again just now.

I used to get these kind of ideas late in the evening. I'd go to bed but I'd be awake all night imagining all the GREAT things I could do with the idea. So then, the next morning, I would be all worn out & I'd realize that it was just a stupid idea to begin with. But, boy, overnight, the idea was nothing short of majestic! This doesn't seem to happen anymore. Maybe it's my SNRI...

My latest great idea was to write a Harry Potter-style children's book series about the magical elves who live inside our bodies- as in there's a whole city of magical elves inside of each person's body. This seemed so brilliant at the time. Now I have no idea what I was thinking.

That sounds terrifying.
