Mind racing again. (Wheeee!) Nothing to do right now but be on PC, but as soon as I get back, ALL the art will be done!

All of it!

And maybe some cleaning, too.

I just wish my mind wouldn't go so fast it's hard to hear myself think! But only a small complaint, I guess, if I'm actually able to get things done.

As a side note, my psychologist (aka temp T) said that even though you eel so creative, mania and hypo do BAD things to creativity? I'm confused.

My dad and I went out for slurpees! So happy. Speaking of happy, I was able to stop myself from purging after I ate everything in sight last night, under the promise that I'll just do a bunch of exercise over the next few days to make up for it.

Cleaning is an exercise, right? I feel like running though, only I'm wearing a dress. And I'm abut to go home....

I'm finished the first peice for the mental health art gallery my friends and I are planning and I have a ton of ideas for more. I got a mouse for my laptop. Yay!

There's a little voice inside me that says I may regret this thread later. WHATEVER, VOICE!

Self Grounding ? Listen to slow calming music .. nature sounds? If it's just Hypo .. why not enjoy it ? Unless you will go flying face first into a mania ...

Good for you with the Art

It sounds like it's possible that you're overthinking your moods again. You sound happy and productive and creative. These are all good things and I hope you enjoy them!
Thanks for this!

Slushies are AWESOME!

Friend and I just found that one of the corner stores has SO MANY OPTIONS for flavours. Annnnd you can make floats with it too.

We plan to take her baby there for walks during the summer so we can get ourselves slushies

And don't go running in a dress. That's just begging for awkward!

Not that I doubt your psychologist's many many years (decades probably) of school and practice in the field, but I would actually disagree with that statement. And the numerous paintings that are hanging around my house would also disagree with that statement.

As long as you don't get too speeded up into a mania, I say enjoy it.

Youve got to be kidding?! Creativity is at its best for a lot of people during hypo/mania.

Yeah I'd have to agree! I'm very creative when im manic. Usually, I'm not, unless you count the few times I write emo poetry when I'm depressed :P

As far as creativity goes...hypo/mania is at its peak. I am deeply creative and highly productive. I have never, ever experienced anything but that. I can say that rolling in my creative space does fuel mania though. That may just be me. Its like anything addictive...once i am able to access that imaginative, expansive place...i don't want to leave, so I crave being there and I think that can fuel things for me (in a negative way). Other than that addictive property...mania rocks creatively.

Thanks for responding, guys.

As for what temp T said, no idea what he meant. I'll ask him to clarify tomorrow.

Been productive. Enjoying it. Just wish this headache would go away.

White noise works for me. Hair dryers in particular. Although a bit dangerous. I have discovered today that iTunes do white noise hair dryers so I'm going to give it a go

You speak for me! Hypomania is generally a pleasant experience for me if it's not accompanied by irritability and headaches. Keep on producing! Enjoy it while it lasts

I get real bad headaches before I start bouncing off the walls. I've always wondered if they were related.

This is fun. So much art is getting done. And all the cleaning, too. Here's the first MH piece (anorexia):

Yeah I definitely feel that in music. Once it gets going good, and you starting vibing with your creation, it's like I feel my mind winding up and up ha.

Only downside is that I get goin so far, and then I get this desire to FINISH the thing then and there, so it's complete. Trying to tame that down though, I'm realizing revisiting works multiple times spread over days and weeks is leading to a more mature, refined product.

Hard though lol! Gotta take the best :P

Good to hear though OP! Hope you keep feeling great
