Overwhelmed.

It's been one thing after another every single day for a month. I have been out with friends and that helps. But I can't take this much longer. I'm on overload.

Vent here as much as you can.

Well my daughter just called. Her braces are broken. T's Sunday morning early. Of course the orthodontics office is closed.

Is there anyway to temperately fix her braces until Monday so they aren't painful? I hope T can help you feel less overwhelmed. How's your son doing?

I seem to have constantly got one thing after another, been going on over 8 months now. I feel like the slightest thing will tip me over the edge. I'm full of anger. No one seems to do what their meant to do. I'm not a violent person at all but when someone called my 8year old daughter a fat cow it took great restraint not to knock her out. Angry angry angry!!

She's not even home from vacation with her dad yet. Later today. I think they're broken some how.

I just called all 3 numbers and no answers. Figures.

Nathan is doing better. Doing fine in summer school. Well I wish he'd do better of course.

Lots coming down on you all at once. Maybe this means that July will be smooth sailing. Is your daughter using wax to get a little relief? We have been through the same thing a couple of times, and orthodontists don't feel the need to put in extra hours. As a matter of fact, the ones around here take off Friday through Monday. The dentists do this, too. I am glad that Nathan is doing well in summer school.

They're home. One of the brackets is loose. They told us to call right away if something happened. Lets hope they can get her in ASAP tomorrow. I finally found their hours on Facebook and not anywhere obvious! Their website nor the folder they hand out had their office hours.

I got dental wax in the drug store and used it for temporary fixes when I had braces way back when.

Yep dental wax ! I had braces twice and stuff always pop loose or falls off.

She has wax. Thanks!

She says its not connected to her tooth anymore.

How long does she still have there?

She only has the top braces yet. Been about two weeks so far.

Can/will he take her to get them fixed?

I'm going to take her tomorrow.

She says the wire alone is keeping the braket on.

She got something more sturdy for that tooth and new elastic s and the wire tightened. She got purple this time. All fixed up!
