I've just started this antipsycotic and as I always do, read some stuff about it. If someone could take the trouble of looking it up, can you tell me if you would be happy taking this??

http://http://www.medicines.org.uk/g...d%20Psychosis/

I live in the USA and this is only used in the UK, So I have no real knowledge of it. It states its uses are for Schizophrenia and Psychosis ( Most Bipolar and Schiz meds are cross overs , meaning they can treat both... Did your Doctor not explain the medication and discuss side effects ?

Hopefully a fellow UK person will see this thread and have personal expierence.

Good luck I hope this med helps you

Pdoc did explain the side effects in depth, but I'm at his mercy now as I've been through all the atypical antipsychotics and most of the typical. I used to make my own decision about what meds I took, now I don't really have any choices left so I have, for the first time in years, let him choose. I'm so fed up with all the meds I take and when I read about this one I was quite shocked. Mainly because even the common side effects look horrendous.
