Well....I managed to get my bipolar guy to the alter. The hysterical thing is that after all that worrying and biting off my precious nails....I was the one who was moody and combative while he remained calm and the voice of reason. Maybe I should have taken his meds that day? Anyway...we are now happily married and all that jazz. It's been good since the wedding on Saturday too. So far no switch flipping yet. Hoping his good mood lasts just a little longer. Helps he's back to work too. Here is to crossing fingers for the future.

That's a girl, Hopingonhope.

I'm so glad for you and all your family. And I hope you'll have a very happy and fulfilling life together.

Keep in touch, and if, or when, the going gets rough, let us know. We'll be here for
support for all your family.

Take care and be good! (No need to promise that with that Irish inheritance, but you know what
I mean--as good as you can be!)

Lots of very good wishes to everyone.

As someone who believes, WAY more often then not, that no one out there can truly know, love or feel safe with me because of my bipolar diagnoses.. (though I don't know your's relationship story), I wanted to say thank you for taking a chance, opening yourself up to someone diagnosed with bipolar. As I've seen and have been told, 'relationships are tough enough, who wants to fall for and be with someone afflicted with bipolar.' Thank you for seeing the person and not diagnosis.
