I've been so irritable and agitated today, pacing up and down, cant sit still, full of energy but its BAD energy....

but yet I have no motivation to do anything. and im tired. Crashed this afternoon and slept so deep, couldnt wake up or snap out of it for hours. Now im still pacing but Im so tired. I dont know what to do with myself this is the most awful ive ever felt in my life. I dont even know why im posting this.

My first bipolar assessment tomorrow. Im not officially diagnosed, i just feel better on this forum at the moment.

Hello there!

I am sorry you are going through this right now. When I am feeling overly antsy, I try to go outside to get some air. The fresh air will help calm your nerves and hopefully you can go back to sleep and rest a bit.

I know that may not seem like much help, but it does wonders trust me. I have suffered from those manic states before so I know what you are going through.

Good luck and take care and keep posting, you will feel better.

I was just about to go to bed to try and get some sleep and I ended up walking outside and pacing up and down the street instead (it's a long street) which then resulted in me running up and down the street totally freaking two of my neighbours out because I thought someone was going to kill me!

I'm totally losing it

Hang in there! You may not have bipolar, I was once misdiagnosed with bipolar II. Some times they see certain criteria and make a quick judgement. I do have many similar symptoms of bipolar but for me it's just more of BPD with rapid cycling of moods. Take a step back and just let things play out. Let the doc decide, don't try to self diagnose because you will end up projecting what you think and may get a misdiagnose and that won't help you.
