I'm a very disorganized(messy!!) person. My little desk where I eat, draw, use the internet, and every thing else I ever do always has junk spread all around the floor and desk;; (notebooks, empty water bottles, art supplies, paper woowee)

Last year I completed NaNoWriMo (a writing challenge to write 50,000 words in November)... by writing 50,000 words in 7 days. Go me go!

I have at least 30 books about dogs (not including the fiction ones!), three about rodents, at least 5 about Psychology, two about nutrition, two about global warming, one about medicine... Er. I like collecting information. So, I could keep going. People tend to know I like knowledge, most don't know how many nonfiction books I actually have. I, also, like to save old text books.

On top of my nonfiction books, I have a collection of books so vast that I literally have no room for them in my house anymore. My room is overfilled with books of all sorts.

Antiques are fun, plus you can't trust old-time spelling

I'm 5'3.5"... want the extra inches from my pants? They're always too long for me!

I learned to knit the rufflely/sashay scarves over the Christmas break. It was the first time I ever knit anything. I made my own scarf across two days. Then just spent all day this weekend and made my EA at work a scarf as well and surprised her with it yesterday. I'm a marathoner when it comes to a hobby!

I'm really tall too and I have to special order my pants because most stores do not carry extra long size pants. I buy my pants at AE online when they go on sale because they sell really long sized pants and they fit well too.

i didn't speak to anyone except my family until I was 4. I was so terribly shy and scared of people that I once pooped my pants at a new daycare while watching the other kids laugh & play on the merry go round. I also used to wet the bed until I was 8.

Good news is I am still an introvert but learned how to be social & even speak in front of groups & enjoy theater & acting. I had a solo once in the school play.

AND I want blue hair!

Great thread! I love learning this stuff about you all!

Hmm, where to start?…
Language. Love it. Studied 6 languages (English --of course--, Russian, Spanish, French and with some Hebrew and Latin thrown in for good measure.) Alas, have probably forgotten more than I ever learned.
Related: I adore Stephen Fry.
Top secret: I transliterate things I don't want anyone reading into Russian. (ie., English words written in Cyrillic alphabet.) Bonus points for irony, because, if it is extensive, I get lost and don't know what I'm talking about either(!) (Works for writing down gift ideas though…)

I collect Pyrex refrigerator dishes. Only the 1.5 quart ones. I have about 20. There's still a couple colors I don't have. I'm always looking for a black one. My grandma gave us one a long time ago and we've always used them as butter dishes. Luckily, they're only $10-15 each, so it's not a huge amount of money.

Also, I danced for 20 years. I started when I was 3 1/2. I've done a lot of dance styles. Tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, new age (which was weird), acrobatics, clogging, and Irish dance. I love tap, clogging, and mostly Irish dance. I want to start dancing again, but I need to lose weight, and get my back better.

While working at a shoe store for almost 2 years I developed a pretty large shoe collection. I own 30+ pair of basketball shoes. Some of the shoes are identical except in color.
I also have a decent bookshelf full of everything from classics to sci-fi to commentaries. One book I found on Jeanne D'Arc written in 1936 that took forever to read since about 1/5 is in French which I do not speak. Super fun to read though since she is one of my favorite historical figures.
