If you read in any of my past post I talk more in detail about bipolar relating to me. But anyways I was talk to one of my friends because I felt like **** and really depressive and I told him about my whole bipolar issues. He said I seem like one of those people who just looks up stuff online and make connection because of a few common things and overthinking things. This whole comment made me really confused and mad and just I don't know. What if I'm just making up my disorder in reality or I'm just over paranoid? But I know my feeling when I feel them are 100% real but maybe I'm just being over sensitive to feeling them because I'm aware of a possible disorder

Have you been diagnosed by a doctor?

Some people cause symptoms in themselves if they label themselves before an official (correct) diagnosis. This is why pdocs hate it when a patient comes in declaring that they have so and so disorder.

Its more common in teenagers and younger people. Im not sure how old you are. I have seen many people "talk" themselves into mental illness, then when it starts to take over for real they freak out and are suddenly fixed. But sometimes they are in too deep and irreparable damage is done.

If you are researching and noticing new symptoms you didnt have before, it is likely you are picking things up that would not have naturally occured.

You said you were under 18 but not how old you were. Could you convince your parents to let you see a therapist again? to work on coping skills.

Ah, if you are under 18 a therapist is a good way to go. Learn all the skills you can now to set you up for a successful life rather than digging yourself into a mentally ill mold.

I was. Kinda of diagnosed? I'm not completely sure now because I was looking through my last check up forum and it said bipolar disorder but I thought I was diagnosed so I'm like what? And I felt exactly the same before I found any sort of disorder
