Does anyone use meditation as a way to help control their bp (in addition to "conventional" treatment"? I recently got into the practice, and I find it incredibly relaxing. I was reluctant to try it-what good could "sitting still and clearing my mind" do-but I am glad I did. It's really nice for mixed states, agitated manias, and those times when I am irritable because it is impossible for me to focus my attention.

I have just started to truely meditate now. Before I would sit quietly but the thoughts would not stop. It took a long time for me to be able to sit with no thoughts, and I still cannot do it for long, but I am getting better at it with practice and I am seeing a difference. I feel much more calm and at peace with myself. Holosync has been the most beneficial meditation for me so far. Very quick results with obvious benefits.
My mood is just starting to change now due to the PMDD so the next week or so will be the big test to see how much of a difference it makes to that. |
