I was having this idea for a while....

The way we people, specially bipolar ones experiences the world has nothing to do with mental illness as defined by DSMs.

Rather, its just a different way of experiencing the world!! A brand new way, which has been experienced by few people since the beginning of history.

Are you an Indigo Child???

Hold onto your breath and ask yourself!
Thanks for this!

"Indigo child" should not have a particular time frame as defined, but might have a different occurrence rate.

Anyway, I was born in 1980 too, but just watch the experiences of your life. What do you feel?

Sorry if this sounds silly, but what is an "Indigo Child"? I've never heard of that before.
Thanks for this!

I've been called that way, yes, but to be honest I still don't know what should I be doing.

@justbeingme80 Indigo children, according to a pseudoscientific New Age concept, are children who are believed to possess special, unusual and sometimes supernatural traits or abilities.

Good way to look at BP, I believe it. However, like anyone else who is different, my special qualities remain unappreciated.

Its hard to explain in few sentences. Why don't you google it? It actually opens a horizon to some infinite possibilities...and relates to many other things, hence the exploration may begin with just googling it!

The very first thing that could be done, as I felt, is to enrich myself spiritually and with knowledge of spirituality!!

I think so. The feeling that I've come here to do something. Create more beauty in the world is what I was told in meditation. I think an intense spirit has some difficulty de-calibrating into material form, memories lost but still there, the heightened sensitivity remains. Sometimes I feel like I can do what I came here to do. But sometimes I worry I've failed the task. I'm keeping doing the best I can at the different times.

Has anyone experienced a Kundalini release? I was told I was early at it. Been having times periodically of very high Kundalini energy for 20 years, starting when I was 20.

I think, the feelings of us BPs are pretty similar but we become hopeless as we face hard times coping with the society.

I am trying to find out if it is possible to manage the BP and convert the energy into something positive.

Kundalini, no not yet. I am new to the world of meditation and stuffs.

Thanks for the reply.

A different view is a brand new world itself.
