I was diagnosed about 5-6 months ago with bipolar. I know I've suffered with it for awhile but my last manic episode was awful. I'm married to a great husband and have 2 little girls. This last one I left the house for a week and did things I don't want to repeat, I felt so out of control and destructive. I was mean to my family and closest friends. For as long as I can reme.ber I've been depressed, edgy or the other spectrum. On different meds now so I'm hoping for the best. Not sure how much more my family can take. I unfortunately act out in a way that my husband really no longer trusts me . Anyone else that has any advice please feel free to message me id appre iate all the help I can get. Really thankful for this board!

coming back from bipolar can be a long journey but it can be done if you are patient and persistent. it took me over two years to find the right meds to address my bipolar. I was really picky. I would not tolerate side effects. my pdocs hated me, but I finally found the right combo of meds that worked to completely irradicate my symptoms and now I no longer cycle. it is really nice to have a normal life now. no longer suicidally depressed, no more destructive manias. it can be done. it just takes work. you can do it. take care.
