I was diagnosed about 5-6 months ago with bipolar. I know I've suffered with it for awhile but my last manic episode was awful. I'm married to a great husband and have 2 little girls. This last one I left the house for a week and did things I don't want to repeat, I felt so out of control and destructive. I was mean to my family and closest friends. For as long as I can reme.ber I've been depressed, edgy or the other spectrum. On different meds now so I'm hoping for the best. Not sure how much more my family can take. I unfortunately act out in a way that my husband really no longer trusts me . Anyone else that has any advice please feel free to message me id appre iate all the help I can get. Really thankful for this board!

coming back from bipolar can be a long journey but it can be done if you are patient and persistent. it took me over two years to find the right meds to address my bipolar. I was really picky. I would not tolerate side effects. my pdocs hated me, but I finally found the right combo of meds that worked to completely irradicate my symptoms and now I no longer cycle. it is really nice to have a normal life now. no longer suicidally depressed, no more destructive manias. it can be done. it just takes work. you can do it. take care. feel free to pm me if you want to chat
