It can be.
Depends on mood. If it's not mood related then you're just a blabbermouth.

For me, I don't know if it's when I'm manic or a symptom of Asperger's, which I have signs of. My running on tends to be not so much about me, but I digress into references that gets me a deer-in-the-headlights look from other people. When I'm "level" I tend to be quiet, or just plain outgoing.

Sometimes I can't help it I'm seeking a second opinion of my thoughts

Sometimes talking to others about it is just like your thinking out loud using the responses to help you solve your own equation. (even just typing this has made me realise this is what I do lol)

Yes, this is a sign of mania for me. The talking becomes out of control (even when a person really does not want to listen to me) and I laugh at everything that happens (even inappropriately).

Both of these things I had REALLY had. Now I use "self talk". I talk myself through the situation and make myself by quiet and not say "anything" at all out of near that of I get started I might fuk up. I still occasionally laugh at things that are inappropriately not funny. Then I quickly clean it up as if I did not hear it correctly. Sent from The Land of Golden Sunshine using Tapatalk

Yes no prob. I keep thinking to myself: "don't say anything you'll start chatting too much, you'll alienate everyone." When I'm standing with a few ppl the above is whats going through my mind it's as thou I'm whispering it to myself. It has really helped me. Sent from The Land of Golden Sunshine using Tapatalk

A waitress at Dennys calls me "jumping out of my socks" when this happens. LOL What is even more interesting is that I am now boring to her and she liked me the other way.
