Is this a good blog to help bipolar people or will this girl make you worse? Watch.

Which girl do you think did it better?

The second girl ("How to Alleviate Tight Muscles from Stress and Writing") paused too frequently, was disorganized, and was too verbose. I have a short attention span and low tolerance for irrelevant information. Couldn't watch for more than a minute.

First video (bipolar disorder): I liked the precision of the information, and preferred her voice to the first girl (I watched both videos by girl 2, all the way through -- is this you, Marshellette?).

However, I feel that this girl's body language might trigger some people, or make them a bit uncomfortable. She seemed antsy, and a bit tired. The lighting's dim. It's great to have a veteran survivor on screen, but people might be more comforted by (and trusting of) a video where the speaker seems more composed.

Still, I prefer the girl with the BP anyday. Slightly unconventional advice at times, but we're unconventional people.

supercrazylady21 has a nice voice (voices are so important to me), but her videos make me feel more unsettled when I'm down. Just my thoughts, everyone's different

Hi Marshellette, figuring the first one is you, right? Remember from your other thread self esteem/confidence?!!
I'd say that it must have taken a lot of strength and courage to put yourself out there and upload that!! So good on you!!!
Just doing something like that can break down so many barriers for people going through that whether for themselves or for people they may know who watch your videos (as you make more too!! )
You should be really, really proud of yourself!!
And if you're thinking that it might make people worse, because you maybe felt a little less confident on the video/what you were saying struck some chords for you/you're going through some hard things at the moment then all that is doing is making your videos real, making them honest, and clearly showing you as speaking from "the heart". And people will relate to that. And let's face it depression/bipolar isn't easy sometimes is it, so if you were doing them in an "offhanded" way it would all be a little (a lot!!) fake wouldn't it?
So, more confidence in yourself!!!
And don't go comparing yourself to the other girl, you are just different, and different in a good way!!!
Well done!!!

Only nine (9) episodes over a lifetime? I must be dead a couple of times over then - because I've exceeded my quota two or three times (then again, I'm a "rapid-cycler" BP1)

I found this very hard to believe as I've had many more episodes than that and I'm a long depressive cycler mixed with rapid cycling of hypo/ mixed. Then again I was just diagnosed a year ago and still haven't found the right med combo but I've been BP II since I was 14 just misdiagnosed until I was 43.

No one is going to mess me up, I can do that so well on my own! In fact, I am the only one who can control that, so, yes, it is a good blog for this woman who has been gifted with a bipolar brain.

The young woman in the second video gave some good hints, but I just could not sit through it in its entirety. The shorter, the better, as it is hard for me to stay focused for long periods of time.

Thank you for sharing the videos. I really liked the first one.
