I'm no poet, but I'm trying to muddle my way through my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes these little "poems" pop out. I'm newly diagnosed Bipolar 2, and I'm trying to figure out what stable is for me.

"Normal"

I've been down.
I've been up.
Now, I'm somewhere in between.
Is this what normal is?

I feel bad when I'm depressed.
I feel on fire when I'm manic.
Now, I'm somewhere in between.
Is this what normal is?

I'm exhausted while depressed.
I don't sleep while manic.
Now, I'm somewhere in between.
Is this what normal is?

I can't get anything done in depression.
I can't stop in mania.
Now, I'm somewhere in between.
Is this what normal is?

I feel empty and alone when depressed.
I feel irritated and alive when manic.
Now, I'm somewhere in between.
Is this what normal is?

I know my depression.
I know my mania.
Now, I'm somewhere in between.
Is this what normal is?
