All i can do is sit in front of the TV and vegetate because i shake too bad to get up. I can't eat without spilling because of the shakes, can't dress myself.

You need to call the dr, these side effects sound unusual to me, maybe even go to the ER. I wouldn't wait.
Thanks for this!

I agree I would at least taper down with or without a pdocs approval. That extent of shaking is not right and I know it has progressed for you because you said a couple of weeks ago it was just a fine hand tremor. I might go to the ER too, something is wrong.

The trick is knowing which one to taper. I have found that the answer may not be obvious. I had been on Abilify for several months before experiencing this same shaking. There were other meds added afterwards. So I thought it must be the last one that was increased in dosage. My doctor immediately recognized it to be the Abilify and took me off of it. The shaking stopped. So it usually does not pay to be your own pdoc. You may end up removing a med that you really need.

I would first call your docs emergency number. Otherwise I would go to the ER and get a psych consult. Have someone drive you or take a cab. Either way do something about it.

The point to psych meds is to get relief from symptoms and gain a better quality of life. If the meds you take are not doing that you need to find someone who will listen and help find a ballance clearly this cocktail isn't working.

(((((((((Marshellette))))))))) those horrid shakes sound exactly like the ones I got from lithium.
I hope you / your pdoc resolve this soon, its really no way to live when we can't even eat or drink without making a mess.
