Sometimes I feel like tiny mites are crawling all over my body. I never show any signs of an actual "infestation". No rashes or bumps and no one else in my household feels this way. I'm starting to suspect that it might be connected to my bipolar disorder. I'm not on any meds so I know it isn't a side effect from anything. Does anyone else get this way? I have been "itchy" on and off for years now. Thanks for you feedback!

Didn't know what a tactile hallucination was so I looked it up. So it's basically the feeling that something is there when there isn't anything? I have had that before, I have felt hands on my shoulders and felt like someone was rubbing my back. The first time I experienced the back rubbing sensation I was on the city bus and some guy was sitting behind me. I thought it was him but I couldn't catch him in the act! hahaha, you gotta be able to laugh at these episodes. I bet it is a tactile hallucination. Thanks for helping me figure this out...I've been searching for the answer for yrs now, but I ignored the mental side.
Thanks for this!
