I haven't had hypomania in over a year, my my brain would feel like it's being bathe in pure gold, everything in the world makes sense, I don't want to move, I have tears of joy, I feel so amazing.

can someone tell me why I haven't had this feeling in a year? Are my "mood stabilizers" robbing me of pleasure?

You're not having this feeling because mood stabilizers keep you within normal limits. You're not meant to be constantly hypomanic. They rob you of symptoms, but if they're robbing you of pleasure, you need to talk to your pdoc.

yes I do cry a lot, I was just diagnosed as having a mixed episode. It is hell. Cry, Cry, anxiety, but not much mania. My first post in the longest time.

Can also be a sign of a mixed episode.

I suffer from BP 1 mixed episodes and go through the exact same thing. I will go from being irritated, energetic, etc. to just down right depressed briefly and then back again to the mania. I have been through numerous meds, but I finally found the right combo. I recently came off of Seroquel because my sugars and triglycerides were through the roof and it wasn't working, and now I am on Haldol. I feel great.

BP 1-mixed episodes/OCD

Lamictal 400mg
Haldol 4mg
Klonopin 1.5mg
