I have a high stress job and I find myself getting angry quite a bit. My job is tourist orienentated. Have any of you been to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Tn. I am having a hard time keeping myself calm. Do you guys have things that work well for you that I could possibly try? If I didn't have to work I'd be rolled up in my bed

You could try breathing exercises or telling yourself something funny in your mind. I used to live in Johnson City TN.

I've tried the breathing doesn't quite help. I'll have to try the jokes to myself didn't think of that one.

My job can be pretty high stress at times, too. I sometimes just have to find a moment and go sit in the bathroom for a few minutes and close my eyes. I have a few people around my workplace who I sometimes have a lighthearted chat (or rant) to and it can help me get through the day.

I have a very high stress job, as an emergency service plumber... I really hate it sometimes, but I am awesome at it. A customer told me I was a plumbing god the other day... So my high stress job has it's mania and depression too.... Hehehe.

Coping is tough. I listen to my favorite music in the van, and I lift weights after work to de- stress.

Intense Exercise is the ultimate de-stressor for me. I crank some good music on the headphones and pump iron for an hour... I feel awesome for hours after that...
