ive gotten back into my work out routine it seems to help but sometimes im so low i have to push myself hard to stick with the exercise

have you ever felt so mentally exhausted you could sleep all day?

do you ever forget things more frequently then usual like instantly forget things constantly?

ive read that creating a strict schedule for yourself can help manage mood swings along with enough sleep...im so manic sometimes i go off of 8 hours for a whole week..am i alone on that one?

I can definately relate. I went on little to no sleep every night for around 11 months one time. I just didnt need the sleep. I would get around 45 minutes a night sometimes none but I would make myself lay down atleast. The schedule or tight routine definately works for me. I was the most stable when I had one. I dont have one now but I am working on making a new one as I dont work or have my girls everyday anymore.
A couple weeks every year I get the mental exhaustion and will almost sleep around the clock for a while. Its like my brains catching up from the sleeplessness I go through most of the year.

My sleep has been pretty stable at 6 hours a night for quite some time. Occasionally I can't sleep and get less, but normally at about midnight I finally get tired of reading and turn off the kindle and try to sleep. Takes a little time sometimes, but not always.

The exercise thing I get for sure.

Yes, I perform better on a regular, pretty proscribed schedule. If something disrupts my schedule severely, I can get wonky.

It is really hard to force myself to exercise more than about 10 min. I do walk (stroll) about 20 min. 3 or 4 times/week. I love to dance but my meds have slowed me down so much, I can only handle about 10 min. of that. I do yoga in the am for stretching. I am very forgetful, short term memory is bad. Am on Depakote (for manias & seizures) & have read that can cause short term memory loss. When I am near the ocean, the sea invigorates me. But am land locked right now & that's a bummer
am better on my meds than off. HOpe things get better for you.
