I am very grateful for my grandmother today as she is turning 90! I feel very blessed to have her in my life

So far I have resisted strong urges to spend allo of money. God, this is difficult.

As strange as it sounds, I'm grateful for work. Mostly my coworkers and my manager. They're absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't ask to work with a more helpful, loving group of people. The only person who sort of knows what's up is my manager, but I think other people can tell something's not right and everyone's picking up my slack (I feel guilty as hell) but no one's complaining. They're all just...helping. And asking what they can do.

A challenge I've always had is how do you stay focused on what you do have rather than not, so that you don't throw away/wreck what you do have?

To have such an awesome relationship with the greatest daughter ever. She supports me, encourages me and is so proud of what I do to get to where I have come today, how rocky that may be at times.

Having a family that really likes to do things together.

Finding the most awesome Game of Thrones poster for my classroom (Tyrion Lannister with a quote about how vital reading is as his mind's weapon. Very cool.)

The Movie Trading Company (I could spend hours in there.)

Today, and for the past three months, I've been grateful for stumbling across such an amazing boyfriend. I'm still absolutely floored with what a "normal" relationship is like... and being treated with actual respect and having someone else consider my needs and wants instead of just theirs.

I'm also grateful that it's summer hols (I'm a teacher) and I am grateful to be heading out of town for the weekend... and then in another week I'm going to Europe for a vacation! Totally grateful for that!!!!

That my psych called to see if I could reschedule. It's been a rough day, and as much as I normally need/want/like to go, I'd been lamenting having to go anywhere but straight home after work.
The phone rang. Et voilà! Wish granted.
