hi folks. my full name is walter lee hogue and i quit high school. i joined the marine corps in 1981 and left in 1985. in addition, i never could hold a job. still can't. but, i have been blessed with a good family and i continued my education by reading and writing.(self taught) that being said, never give up the ship!

Wally, I didn't drop out in high school, for a very simple reason. My mom could really be bad if she wanted to, so I was warned that if I try to drop it, I'd pay for it and in the most horrible ways.
I never finished anything else. Sometimes I wonder how I even manage to stay strong in my marriage (8years) I have to give a lot of thanks to my hubby and God for that, otherwise I'd be alone right now.
And as well as you, I self teach a lot. There are not impossible things, hard yes, but eventually I can learn anything I put my mind into.
Bipolar doesn't define me, but if I have to be honest, it does get in the way of a lot of stuff.
Still I enjoy having a very high IQ, even though I never even got to know what I would like to study in college....
And just so you know, English is my second language since 7 years ago, so, forgive my mistakes~

Perhaps you can get your GED and go from there. Is there something you think you would like to do for a living? Maybe you can go back to school.
