I've just started experiencing these sensations recently. Yesterday was kind of annoying. I was laying down after my head started to hurt. And it was like my arm and leg muscles were being zapped to flex then release. This went on for a while. I finally fell asleep. I almost wonder if it wasn't from not being tired and wanting to keep going, but I'm not sure. Any one else have this happen? Haven't had any med changes in a month plus. My arms and legs do go to sleep a lot. But my PCP thinks that's from carpal tunnel, maybe connected?

I get these from my Effexor occasionally. Especially when titrating. I've heard other people have had the same experience with Effexor-"Body Shocks". They're weren't all that unpleasant once I got used to them. Come to think of it I got them with Cymbalta too. Of course I'm not sure if this is what you're experiencing but I just thought I'd throw that out there.

Also it could be restless leg syndrome. I have experienced that in my arms as well as my legs before. I get the repetitive flex/release/movement with that all. night. long. Sucks beyond belief.
