I LOVE acapella and write arrangements for it frequently, so I've decided to record and start a youtube channel. 7, 8, or 9 vocal lines that I record all separately and then mix them together. I've been doing it for fun for 10 years.

I want to focus mainly on mental health themed songs.

Take a listen?

And have any bipolar/mental health themed songs that might work?

I wasn't familiar with those two but love them, Lithium especially. I might try them, though turning such a guitar-driven song into acapella will be challenging.

Good for you for starting. I am subscribed, hope to hear some more. Music can be a wonderful creative outlet for emotions. It certainly is for me.

Thanks for the nice words. I'm addicted to arranging and recording these acapella songs now. I did Tori Amos' Silent All These Years yesterday, and The Fray's How To Save A Life today. This is today's:

Cool!
I'm not used to this kind of singing but as the song progresses I catch the rythm and gradually enjoy it more and more - until it stops :\
I have two suggetions that are a matter of my own taste of course:
In the first song the backround voices could be slightly more quiet and become louder at certain points. A small fade out of the voice at the end would reduce the sudden feeling that I want more
I like to play with video editing programs creating small videos and I really enjoy this creative process as you do I suppose. At the past I overdone it with a video that (almost) became an obsession. I was waking up in the middle of the night for example just to slightly change the duration of a transition effect between two scenes
Have this in mind please and don't change your sleeping schedule
Two likes for the first two songs!
