Feel like I pretty much lost everything because of this even now me insurance since I lost my job back in July. I have nothing left and made some really bad choices and engaged in the risky behavior characterized by hypomania. My psych docs even asked me why i waited so long at my age of 39 to seek help and not much they could do or advise. So now just paying cash for the remaining refills of medication clonozepam, lexapro, Prozac and Gabapentin and hoping for the best. I made really bad choices and been screwed over by people and i am the one who is called crazy, paranoid, weird and other things behind my back

Im sorry you are having such a rough time right now.. Everyone makes bad choices BP or not at times in there life ... If your Pdoc isnt helping you then you need a new one... No one is too old to get "treatment" .. Your list of medicaions could actually be causing more problems than helping. taking lexapro and prozac together ? can actually make BP worse for some people.

Check into county health services if your unemployed they offer a sliding scale or free services and often provide medications.

Dont give up hope and Welcome to PC

I agree with what she is saying. I see a therapist and exercise. Most days it helps. Im able to get my emotions out and I feel much better. Helps me relax.

Time for a new pdoc. There is help out there. Dont take no for an answer, you are worth more then that.
