Most times I am usually happy But once in a while like once everyday which usually last for like an hour I get really sad, frustrated, worthless, feeling life has no meaning, after one hour has passed I become my happy self again. It happens mostly after having a sober conversation with someone at night, Maybe the person tells me What he or she did that makes him or her So happy, then I start thinking of how unhappy i am even though I know I am not unhappy I just feel sad for about an hour, very gloomy and feel like ending my life at that point,But I don't ever take any step to take my own life,I just wait for dat hour to pass den I become normal and happy again.
At other times I am usually very happy,I start feeling like a genius, like someone who is about to discover something ground breaking, like an hero,So happy and elated, feeling unstoppable. Also for about an hour or less, this happens everyday an hour for each opposite feelings.
Am I bipolar? What can I do about it?

No one here can diagnose you .. But to me it doesnt sound like Bipolar.

Bipolar moods " typically " last longer periods of time.. usually weeks at a time.

I think you certainly need to see a Doctor if your having thoughts of ending your life. Whatever is going on is causing you to feel so strongly needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

Stay safe and welcome to PC

I do not think what you wrote is adequate for a diagnosis of BP. It can be anything, even nothing.

As already stated here were in no position to diagnose you.

You should seek professional medical advice. It is possible to have ultra rapid cycling but the way you're describing it would be a rare minority.

I'd be more concerned about the suicidal ideations more than anything else you've mentioned. But hey I'm far from being in a position to give any medical opinion.

You need to see a professional psychologist or psychiatrist. You describe some borderline personality symptoms. Borderline is also related to intense relationships and irrational feelings of abandonment.

A good first step would be seeing a doctor you trust and maybe starting out in therapy. Self harm thoughts can escalate and become very dangerous very quickly. Be safe

Hi Hotice, it doesn't sound like bipolar to me because usually bipolar depression lasts at least 2 weeks with the low mood occupying most of the day and mania/hypomania lasting at least 4 days. However, you may have the ultradian form (which means you cycle within the hour) or even BPD.

Then and again, like what the other replies say, I'm not a professional and thus am in no capacity to diagnose you here, so do get your concerns checked out by a licensed psychiatrist/psychologist. I wish you the best of luck.

Have you talked to your regular doc about this? Maybe they can point you in the right direction to get diagnosed. Like it was said before, it may be helped simply through therapy. Good luck and stay safe.

I agree with what everyone else said. You should see a doctor if you really want to find out what's going on.
Just based on my experience, it doesn't sound like bipolar. It sounds like you're reacting to situations around you. At least with me, the mood/energy (high or low ) is already in place regardless of what's going on around me. Sure, I react to stuff, but the mood is already in place.
Of course there are triggers, but those usually set off a week or two week long mood. (Rapid cycling here.)
Good luck.
