I've been struggling with school like crazy for the past year. Last semester was really bad. I barely passed, I lost my scholarship, and I fell behind in my major. Now this semester I have a huge school bill to pay so I've been working nonstop to earn the money. I started the semester off strong, going to class and doing my readings and everything. But this week I feel like I'm really down again, and I've only managed to drag myself to class once. I know I need to go to class to keep my grades up, but I feel like I'm paralyzed and can't make myself go. Does anyone else have problems attending class? Sleeping too much? Any advice on how to make it stop? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

hey, sorry i have yet had any solution to your problem. because this is my problem too. I can't make myself face school and the work. I know like you do, that i have to attend class to know the stuff for the exam. but i really don't wana face it. my dr suggested me to live in school hostel. then going to class will just be blocks away instead of taking trains and buses. But that's not the point. I think i will rot in the hostel room, worse than living at home.

the new med i am taking makes me so sleepy in the day ( I take it at night) If i were to attend morning classes, I had to secretly skip the med. I have four days of morning classes in a week, so i might as well not take the med at all. Then I have to arrange my tutoring outside to earn my own money. I have no energy to do any of these...

increasing med right now: a downhill slope
Seroquel 200mg
Epilim 300mg
Olanzapine 5mg
Amisulpride 50mg (just started trying this)
Clonazepam 1.5mg
Ativan 1mg (PRN)
Zopiclone (Imovane) 10mg

In psychosis and struggling worse with ED
I skip med because I would rather be psychotic than living in the real sucky world
Who can understand?...

I skipped half my classes and received I completes which turned into Fs. I received good grades in the classes I had completed. So I did not find a solution to my MI in school. But at the time I did not know what was wrong with me. It turned out to be a nightmare for me.
