I wake up like today and i dont have to go to work and dont feel like getting out of bed cuz there is nothin to do.I wish i could read a book but ,I cant focus on it.then i feel like a slacker for just sittin around. I cant enjoy Relaxing. I wish i could just wake up and sit and be relaxed and enjoy my family and blessings ,but my head is constant pressure telling me to do this or that. I wish i could enjoy sitting with my kids and do something with them, but my head is constantly think ing, thinking of stuff. |

What don't you get to do when you are working? Leisurely breakfast or lunch out? Do something with everyone that doesn't require much thought? Can you take the kids to a park or something? My daughter-in-law joined a gym that has a place for kids too (2 and year olds) that they like so they both get out some.
Maybe you and the kids could go to the library? You could try to find an "easy" book for reading before you go to bed at night (one of my joys). If they're good kids, take them on a "pretend" shopping trip to a toy store or somewhere and play "what I would buy if I had a lot of money". Give your thinking a place to "go" with pretend thinking, keep it occuppied with "nonsense" and it will be better? If you feel you should be doing something specific and your kids are old enough, see if all of you can brainstorm about it and find ways to start it as a group effort?
