getting ready for 30 days of international travel with many time zone changes and jet lag. normally 25mg. seroquel works well nightly for good sleep but wanting to hear personal experiences as far as combining ambien with seroquel to insure deep sleep on the international flights. even a 2 hr. time zone change pushes me into mania.
saw psych nurse today to make sure i've taken all necessary precautions and she said that i could indeed take ambien in combination with seroquel for the many international flights i'll be taking.
your personal input plz.

Not me. Ambien sent me in a suicidal depression from a normal mood in three days. Stopped taking it and was fine. I would not have wanted to be overseas during that time. My personal opinion is one sleep med is enough. Be careful.

I have never tried them in combination and if it was me I would try it at home to see what the effects would be.

In my opinion , Ambien is a very evil drug. I would not take it again even if my life depended on it. I was on it for 10 years.

Your mileage will vary. I have terrible sleep problems and taking ambien has no affect on me. Seroquel on the other hand is toxic for me so much that I can't even take the liquid form without passing out. My sister on the other hand can take large doses of it with no effect and sleeps well on ambien.
