Thought it would be nice to post something positive. I been on this for a very short time and came on while really stuck in head and feeling down. I wrote a thread a few people responded. I have been responding to other threads and doing something new. What I am finding is that I am not in my head as much and I am allowing small parts of me to be seen by others. Have not done that in yeeeaaaarrrrrsssss. It feels strange, but in a good way. I see this as something positive because I have enormous trust issues with all people especially females. Hope this may encourage someone else to try something different.

Thanks for sharing this and reminding us to try new things. Scary, but you never know what might happen, right?

I like to call it entering your "grown zone". You groan about it, but in the end, the new opportunities and learning enable you to grow. go well everybody.

I'm happy to hear you are trying something new and succeeding. I have been eating healthy for two and a half weeks -- something new for me. It's going well. Yay for us!

Hey Curious,

Thanks for the post! it's very cool that you're finding that participating in threads is helping. I've had the same experience, beginning years ago in a discussion group for depression. It can be so hard to do something new or different, but it's also usually a really positive step.

I joined these forums this week, and started my daily walks again on the 1st. Yay!

all the best,
Randy

Good to read responses that are so positive. I appreciate everyone who took the time to read and respond. Thoughts out to everyone. Keep moving!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
