Latuda was my 4th attempted med for Bp, and so far I am very happy with it. Definitely takes my swings down to a more tolerable/manageable level. No real side effects that I am certain of. I have had increased paranoia, but that may be due to ptsd more than the meds.

I was in a pretty rough and lengthy depression, 6 months or so, and the latuda really seemed to help me come out of it.

How long did it take for you to feel the effects? (I know all these meds take time but my dr said latuda works quicker that most but by no means overnight)

From what I recall it was a month or so before I. Noticed a big difference in mood, but that may have been due to slowly upping dosage gradually. Hope it begins to help you.

Iv'e been taking Latuda for over a year now. I take 125mg with Lamictal 200mg. I feel like a "normal" person again. I was suicidal and was hospitalized, I was in a rough state before we found the right dose for me. I haven't had any side effect other than lethargy. Its really important that you take Latuda with 350 calories. I was taking it with breakfast but it seems to be making me too sedated at work (I've been falling asleep) so I am going to switch it to dinner time and hopefully it will make me sleep more deeply. Good luck, I personally think its a great drug.
