Hi everyone!
I am a musician and I am on tour often. It is really hard with the bipolar. I feel crazy after a while, get paranoid, feel like the people whoI am with don't like me, and I've even had some pretty wild explosive episodes on tour. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to manage one's self while traveling a lot?
Currently staying up all night at a hotel in Copenhagen even though we have to leave here at 6 in the morning.
Ugh...

I hope soon someone can answer your questions better than I can. Musician huh, cool. I can't help but think that becomes an important part of your life, and I hope you love it. What others think? Everyone has an opinion, and of course they will not all be the same. If someone actually does not like you, and most people alive have one or more, it's their problem, not yours. Still I can understand being BP myself, this can make the thoughts hard on one self because I have also wondered such things. Be yourself, love yourself, take your medications, and know you are not alone, but you are also in a group of many good people here, and in the world. You're truly special sharing joy through your music, so again.

these are pretty obvious but heres a few things that may help:
make sure you sleep every day even if its in a vehicle, even if its short and even if its light sleep. (its better to sleep from 4 to 6 in copenhagen than not at all)
if you have time between time zones try and adjust your clock 1 hour per 2 nights in the direction of the time change.
as a musician youre probably getting to sleep late so try and make your hours count, sleep in when you can.
try not to add much fun/touristy things to the menu each day - stay rested
remember that alcohol decreases quality of sleep
maybe try using melatonin to keep your sleep on schedual with the time zone youre in?
