Mixed states are the worst. I have been in one for about a month. I know I was miserable.

Are you able to find anything to do, to distract yourself? Calming and soothing activities are good for me. Hot showers are my favorite when I am in a terrible mixed state.

It can be hard to remember to do anything good for yourself. Just try to calm, distract, and nurture yourself. You are worth it. Hang on, and know that this too shall pass.

Yes, miserable is the word: on the one hand racing thoughts, need to walk, on the other hand feeling nostalgic, hopeless...

I'll try the hot shower

I am trying to get out of one myself. Feels like the depression is better but still have the anxiety and agitation. We just have to keep trying.
Thanks for this!

Sometimes if I'm in a mixed state and able to actually realize what's going on, I'll do something physical. Sometimes I'll cut grass with a push mower for hours. You might try jogging or something.
Chances are, you'll still be in a pisssed off mood, but you'll have less energy to act on it.
Take care.

I'm feeling agitated and depressive too and have a virus at moment. I get quite high anxiety, as well as severe depression.

All these different moods and such confuse me badly. Mine change so quick that I honestly don't know what mood I'm in, when it might change, and what it might change to. This is something way, way, much too complicated for my brain. I may can figure out how to replace an alternator, or something mechanical, but dealing with the mind is no where near anything I can do.

I stay easily agitated and angered, unsocial so people don't add to the agitation, and sort of hypo. I'm rarely getting depressed, however, I think I wished I would in hopes to get more sleep. I first started my medicine, and my migraines completely disappeared for 10 months. Now, I have had migraines every day for the last 2 weeks. My medicine was upped from 1000 mg daily to 1500 mg right before the migraines started flaring up again. However, I did have one hear or there prior, but not every day.
