Hello,

I hope I'm ready..and I'm trying not to think of all the things that make me nervous about going back. Thing is, I did not have a permanent position, I'd only been there 9 months..been off 5 weeks, since then well they have info on my medical leave..that info..make me wonder..what my futur is in for, especially because they called me and I must see a work doctor about my sick leave..

I also know that when I work, I must be able to focus and pay attention to what I'm doing because in 3/4 of my task mistakes are not forgiving..it can cause serious issues.

So because I don't know if I'm on the schedule, (replacement staff) because I have not been there very long..it's really hard to tell my boss, could you put me at the simple task for a while, just until I'm at my 100%..

Also, the more I'm away, the more I'm afraid of how, when and if I'll be able to go back. I just wish I could go back without having to live the questions, comments and just be put in a place where I could work has expected without them expecting me to be top shape..cause really ask me to do and produce the same work has 2 months ago and it would not be the same..I know, I still can't function like I did in my usual activities, I'm slower, I take more time to think, to figure things out..ahh should go to bed.
Hugs from:

I don't know what type of work you're in but transitioning back into the work place after extended leave can seem daunting. You've been through a lot and in the "ideal" world .... You'd be given some leeway into your transition back .... But this is not always the case.

Are you saying your work know the reason why you were away ie your diagnosis? I'm going to be pretty upfront and let you know from my own personal experience that doesn't work well, regardless of being casual or permanent .....
Thanks for this!

short answer, public sector, the boss knows a bit but not diagnosis, the humain resources know more. like why I was off, what was my treatment plan and that my Pdoc is investigating into cyclothymia and ADHD.

Well, I'm going back to work...next week. I'm nervous. called my boss, she was happy to let me know my schedule for the next few weeks..and hourray I'm at a easy task next week, one where I don't need to thing too much. Then call HR..still waiting for a call back..ahhh relief. Also, she adjusted my mood stabilizer, and will be doing more blood work and a follow up appointment. Also happy she suggested I get access to consultations with a nurse for all my questions about medications and note taking for futur appointments
