Today, I watched a parade.

It was the rodeo parade, so there were lots of horses

I am grateful for horses, they are the epitome of beauty
Thanks for this!

For the stars i saw early today while hanging out the wash, for the golden sunrise I saw this morning, for the food i had in the fridge and for the rain that watered the garden.

For Rubys companionship and most of all for lasting another day and not giving up when all felt lostToday I am grateful for...

Finding the strength to haul my ***** to work. I hate waking up at 1AM for a 3AM to 3PM shift. It's just not natural I tell you!

I am grateful today to be alive, to have a great mother, a mean but loving cat, and a home.
Thanks for this!

Today I am grateful to have a wonderful mother. She is dying of cancer so things are so tough right now. I'm spending lots of quality time with her. She is fabulous. I am thankful for my awesome bf, my kids and my cats

Sometimes with this disorder, it's hard to find anything to be grateful for. If you asked me yesterday what I'm grateful for I wouldn't have been able to come up with anything as I was just so deep in depression.
Today is a new day.

Today I'm grateful for my girls who keep me on this earth, my support system, some of my family.

It is a gorgeous day here today. Sunny and warm. So today I am grateful for that as well.

Today I am grateful to be awake and not sleeping in my nightmares.

Today I am grateful that after a night of nightmares I had friends on here who could help me bring my head back into a safe place....

I am grateful for birds.

I was doing yard work today, listening to the songs of robins, blue jays and
chickadees. Such beauty

It made my heart smile

lol xanax because I think it might be what's stopping me from literally climbing the freaking walls right now.
Oh! and blueberries because they're so easy to grow here.
And writing because it lets me empty my head.
This forum... my cat. My kid. Medical science, even though it keeps failing me on the mental health front.
and probably other things.

My friend surviving his sui attempt on Friday...

Good samaritans who save random stranger's lives at 2am.

People in my life who fail to really understand me but exercise acceptance daily.

I'm grateful busiprone seems to working for my anxiety. I've read it only reallycworks for a small percentage of people. And it was one of our last options since I agree with the doctor that a narcotic is probably a bad idea for a recovering addict.
