Sorry you are feeling this way. The only thing getting me through right now is knowing of all these other people on this board who are fighting the same fight.

Thank you to everyone that has welcomed me. I have no clue as to how to navigate this forum. LOL I am Bipolar and Technologically challenged. LOL

I could really use some friends to talk to about this. My doc. just recently told me I'm bipolar, PTSD, Agoraphobia, Depression. Anxiety to the MAX. and I don't know what to do with all this.
Feel like a crazy person.
I'm just trying to accept it all, you know?
Well, please, inbox, chat whatever, I really need some friends that understand what I'm dealing with. I have 2 sons also and the oldest is severely disabled.
I was a pro. singer and really love music and sing all the time. We are currenly living in a condo on the beach and I love it. Gives me a lot to paint. I taught myself how to paint a couple of months ago and I'm writing 3 novels. LOL Who wants to bet if I ever finish them. LOL

Anyway, please contact me and friend me or whatever and someone help me navigate this forum so I don't keep putting posts in the wrong place LOL

Hey Natalie I can PROMISE you that you are definitely not crazy, and definitely not alone in any of this. That is a hard diagnosis to hear. There is a plus side to it though...it now means everything that you've been going through now has a name, and you can now FIGHT IT. With medication, with therapy, support. Whatever works for you. Feel free to PM me any time you want to. I have dealt with/am dealing with a lot of the same things.

Take care! I hope to hear from you soon!

My Brain and I often disagree I am very jealous of all your talent .. I have the creativity of a rock.

I'm glad your in a condo on the beach.. sounds like a wonderful place to express yourself.

I use to live in Florida a mile from the water .. I spent so much time there just watching the water, now I'm land locked but I found a beautiful lake.

Glad you found us

Welcome! I am also a writer although I must say I haven't written much in a few years. I did just start writing a book recently to help single moms heal from divorce, so that is my project for now. I am dying to write fiction again. I haven't written any since college nearly 20 years ago. I live a mile away from the ocean and I love it. I wish I could see the ocean from my home, but sometimes I can smell the salt air, and it is never too far for me to go sit on a bench by the sea.

Just come here and talk whenever you want. There are always many welcoming people here.
Thanks for this!

People will probably ask to be your friend. You can ask others. I think just go to your person page, above right, click there, and then friends, I think maybe, and explore. I'd sure would be a friend.

I just read a small part of your about me. Moms - stop worrying if possible. My mom, who passed away, was from a different generation of people. To even admit to outsiders, like us, you are BP would be a mistake. Now I must I do not tell others, just people here. Anyway my mom was a difficult person to live and deal with. After I found out so late in life I am BP, I'm very confidence my mom had something as well. After all she could make big swings in her emotions.
Smoking - you have done so well so please do not screw it up and get back on that terrible wagon. I think the Welbutrin (spelling?) truly helped me. It just is not good for you, it's cost way too much, and I truly wish I had given it up sooner. I'm good now. I no longer smoke, drink, or certainly no drugs. My understanding is that messes up your medication and my life has been much better due to the medications. Treat your special, because you are.
Lastly talk to your doctor about your wonderful children who you love so much. Don't be like I was and wish you had been a kinder parent. My brain stole too much from me, my marriage, and my only daughter who is now in college. Don't beat yourself up, just try, and seek out those who can help you.
